APA Hotel Kokuraeki Shinkansenguchi

Convenient location directly across train station but not noisy. Typical Japanese breakfast buffet was good to have before getting on Shinkansen. Double bed was comfortable and suitable to sleep 2 people but floor space is tight (typical) if you have large bags it would be hard to manage them. Small mini fridge and kettle in room was nice to have. Microwave available in lobby. Perfect for an overnight to catch train. Plenty of toiletries if you forgot something; also robe and slippers.

Good location. Near major train station.

Just beside the Kokura station where you can find anything you need. The hotel was a bit old but it is good enough.
